Partners and networks

ECDC coordinates and supports the various disease and reference laboratory networks in Europe.

ECDC provides support and services to EU/EEA countries in the areas of disease prevention and control.

ECDC works together with the institutions and agencies of the EU, in particular the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety (DG SANTE), the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), the European Medicines Agency (EMA), and the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA).

ECDC cooperates with international partners, such as the World Health Organization and the centres for disease control and prevention (CDCs) across the globe.
